Dream come true

So, I'm finally here in PA, with the love of my life. Not to mention, happier than I've ever been. Things have been going pretty smoothly, and I've got so many ideas on what to do with my life. It's amazing to take a step back and just breathe for a moment before jumping into it again.

Now that pretty much all the drama is gone, I figure I can start working towards something that I want to do with my life. Without the influence of my family and their hopes of my becoming their perfect prodigy, I can focus on going about my life the way I choose, and not how it's chosen for me. I also know, that being in a relationship makes it harder to do that, but I know that he is willing to support me in whatever I want to do, be it Mechanics, or otherwise.

It's nice to be free, for once. At least, as free as I want to be :)

Budgeting

I seem to be having issues.

For my entire life, I've been taught how to stock up on food and necessities. Now that I'm on my own, I'm not able to afford things like food in bulk, and such. It's odd, because I'm used to doing laundry in large loads, and cooking for a family of 5, and getting family packs of pretty much everything else.

I have to relearn how to live now... And it's hard.

But with the new job, I should be doing alright. Since I'm only part time, I can only put in so many hours, but when I finally work my way up, then I should have more than enough to pay for what I need...

Slowly but surely, I'm hoping to stop living off my aunt and uncle and grandmother, and get to where I'm self sufficient. :)
